Dance is an art and a form of expression of social and communicative interaction. Dance inspires Dancem in its artistic proposals for private and corporate events. It transmits elgance, power, emotion, happiness, motivation, and an infinity of other concepts that can be used to convey a message.

We would like to share with you in this article Sentido Único (Only Sense), piece created by Ester Carrasco, coreographer and Dancem’s Artistic Director. It is a choreography where the classic and the contemporary, the traditional and the transgressive interact, emotional contrasts that take the viewer to another dimension.  This choreography was designed for a private event. The client wished to convey the forbidden, darkness, but with a sense of reality. It was a challenge, succesfully met thanks to the fantastic dancers and the choreographer’s creativity.

Costumes were made of flesh colored cloths creating a sense of nudity with a minimal and daring effect, combined with tulles inspired in classic designs.
